Experimentation project designed with Processing for Creative Computation 1 course in BFA Computation Arts program, at Concordia University, Montreal.
Description
UN_boxing yourself is a project where the user can play around with oneself image, experiencing the discomfort of losing one's own references, and the joy of rebuilding it. Or not.
Using the computer's webcam - or any other camera device available, the captured real-time video is divided in slices, that can have their order changed by user interaction indefinitely, recreating one's self representation.
As it is a real-time video, the slightest movement in front of the camera field will also create different patterns, transforming the user in its own interaction device
.
